Plant Hardiness Zone Map
Hardiness zone is one guide to indicate a plant’s ability to withstand an average minimum temperature. However, other factors, including depth of pond can have a direct effect on the success of a plant’s survival. The number guides throughout our catalog indicate the range of hardiness for a particular variety. Use this as a guide, but keep the other factors in mind when deciding where and what to plant. The lower the zone number, the colder the winters are. If a plant is hardy to zone 4, it will winter over safely in zones 4-11 but not in zone 3.
