We pride ourselves on being very knowledgeable in fish health, disease, and water quality. For years we have studied under the tutelage of the one and only "Koi Vet", Dr. Erik Johnson DVM, learning to diagnose and treat fish health and water quality problems. We offer high quality, disease and pest free fish. We suggest always placing new fish in a separate quarantine tank, and raising the salinity level to 0.3% for 2-3 weeks before placing the fish in your pond. Fish under stress (shipping for example) are susceptible to many things. Quarantining the new fish will help reduce the stress.

Koi are a wonderful addition to your pond! They move gracefully through the water making them a pleasure to watch. Koi grow quickly, doubling sometimes tripling their size in just one season. In optimal conditions, they can reach a size of up to 30 inches in just a few years. Koi are easily trained to eat right out of your hand! Our fish are high quality Domestics (born in the USA from imported Japanese brood stock). Domestic Koi tend to be hardier than imported Koi. With the high quality of our fish, it is really hard to tell a difference between them and imported Koi.

When choosing a Koi, keep in mind that their coloring can/will change some. As the Koi ages the coloring usually deepens. Blacks become deeper and more defined, persimmon reds can deepen to a more crimson red, etc.

Goldfish also make a wonderful addition to any pond or aquarium. There are many different varieties of Goldfish. In optimal conditions, Goldfish can grow to be 10 inches to 12 inches in length.

Our fish are scoped prior to shipment to make sure they are disease and pest free.
